Our Social Responsibility
As a registered Non-Profit Company (NPC), Careerkit recognizes the importance of providing equal opportunities for learners from rural and disadvantaged communities and schools to access valuable career development tools. With this in mind, we have launched the Empowering Dreams Initiative, aimed at introducing these learners to the RIASEC Board Game and its significant benefits. We collaborate with companies that have Corporate Social Investment (CSI) funding for educational initiatives to make a lasting impact on the lives of these learners.

Company Logo on RIASEC Board Game Packaging:
By supporting the “Empowering Dreams” initiative, sponsor companies will have their logos prominently displayed on the packaging of the RIASEC Board Game. This association showcases the company’s commitment to education and social responsibility. The board game, being a tangible and reusable tool, will consistently remind learners and educators of the sponsor company’s positive impact on the community.
Career Recommendations Focused on Sponsor Industry:
As part of the initiative, Careerkit will customize career recommendations within the RIASEC Board Game to align with the industry of the sponsor company. This tailored approach will not only provide learners with a deeper understanding of potential career opportunities in the sponsor’s industry but will also serve as a platform to introduce learners to various roles and pathways within that sector.
How Does the Program Work?
CareerKit to organize face-to-face STEM career guidance activations to be conducted at schools spread throughout a region selected by the sponsor company. We will focus on Grade 9 as they are required to select subject streams for FET.
The activation will follow the following program:
- Introduction to CareerKit and the Sponsor Company
- Understanding Personality and RIASEC Theory
- Learners answer the RIASEC Assessment form to assess what personality they think they have.
- Learners then play the RIASEC Board Game to test their natural abilities in each personality dimension.
- Learners analyze the difference in results between what the learner thinks to what they are facilitated by CareerKit personnel.
- The Activation is then concluded with motivational speakers and career professionals who can share their experiences and insights.
The following is the resources and deliverables:
- CareerKit to host career guidance activation sessions at High Schools in the selected regions.
- CareerKit will provide each school with Career Guidance Resources and Tools (8 RIASEC Board Games each).
- CareerKit will Expose learners to soft skills and employability skills.
- Motivational speakers and career professionals share experiences and expose learners to different opportunities.
- Prepare an in-depth post-project report that outlines the outcomes, achievements, challenges, and recommendations for future iterations of the activations.
